Public Health Pharmacist
Dr. Dorothy Naisiae Memusi is a public health pharmacist with over 20 years’ experience As a supply chain expert with experience in managing priority program commodities and essential medicines, she spearheaded the roll out of the malaria treatment policy change for malaria at the Ministry of Health. She has been the focal point person for resource mobilization at the NMCP and has spearheaded fruitful resource mobilization efforts with the GFATM and other donors.
Recently, working as an independent consultant, she has led efforts in improving supply chain in counties. This work has included designing supply chain management capacity building toolkits. She has also worked in Somalia, Mozambique and Eritrea to support supply chain audits, case management assessment, and capacity building for supply chain.
She has worked with MOH, USAID, the World Bank, HealthStrat, Chemonics, Mott MacDonald and AMREF. Dr Memusi obtained her Bachelor of Pharmacy at The University of Nairobi and is currently undertaking a Masters of Public Health degree at JKUAT.
