Managed several Demographic and Health Surveys (DHS), Malaria Indicator Surveys (MIS), Service Provision Assessment (SPA)and other Household Population Survey in Rwanda (9), Burundi (2), DR Congo (1), the Gambia (1), Cambodia (5), Ivory Cost (1), Madagascar (1), Haiti (2), Ghana (1), Malawi (1), Niger (1), and Pakistan (1). using both traditional paper questionnaires interview and computer assisted personal interviewing (CAPI) survey of hundred of thousand households. Provides technical assistance for survey implementation, management and budgeting, field staff training, and coordination of laboratories conducting biomarker testing. Coordinates with various stakeholders and donors on questionnaire design, preparation of institutional review board submissions, preparation of training materials, monitoring data quality, developing country-specific data tabulation plans, data verification, and writing and editing reports. Developed innovative, program-wide questionnaire management tool to facilitate language translations and improve CAPI integration. Provided technical assistance to the Ministry of Public Health and UNICEF, Cambodia for a survey to collect micronutrient specimens. Helped the government and donors better understand the underline causes of the important micronutrient markers.

Directly involved in the design and implementation of Demographic and Health Surveys (DHS) including surveys with biomarker testing, and Service Provision Assessment (SPA) surveys and Health Facility surveys in Africa, Asia, and Latin America. Had considerable experience in assisting countries to conduct further and in-depth analysis of DHS and SPA data. Is the major contributor to the development of SPA instruments to collect health facilities data for maternal and child health services, family planning and reproductive health, HIV/AIDS, and other infectious diseases. Is also an important contributor to the preparation and implementation of nonstandard DHS modules.
