Mr. Augustin Guech is a seasoned consultant with over 20 years of experience in Information Technology and Assurance. He is an expert in General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPPA), The DoD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP) Certification and Accreditation (C&A) process and Risk Management Framework (RMF) Assessment and Authorization (A&A).
With over 20 years of experience supporting agencies with system and network accreditations. He began his career as an Information System Security Assessor (ISSA) by supporting agencies such as United States Agency for International Development, the Department of State with C&A assessments for FISMA, FedRAMP and NIST requirements as well as edited policies, procedure manuals, information security management guides, and provided Risk Assessments.
Augustin has spent the past five years supporting the DIB clients as a consultant performing CMMC Advisory, CMMC Gaps Assessment, CMMC Readiness Assessment, and DIPCAC, risk assessments. He provides C&A recommendations for Automated Information Systems, and consulting support under the transition to the new RMF process. As an expert in GDPR, HIPPA, DIACAP, CMMC standard, Augustin serves as a Lead Security consultant.
He held the position of Senior Information Security Assurance in several organizations. His experience includes eHealth Strategic Framework risk management, internal audit, and cybersecurity.
Augustin holds the following certifications: CAICO-CCP | CAICO-PA| CAICO-PI| CDPSE | CEH | CCNA | CompTIA A+, N+, Security+ | CUI |AZURE| FISMA | FedRAMP | HIPAA | PCI DSS| CCNA. Augustin also teaches the CompTIA A+, the CompTIA Security+, CEH and CAP certification courses.
