USAID-funded JSI CHISU project
Mr. George Wadegu is a distinguished public health expert specializing in surveillance, monitoring, evaluation, and learning (SMEL) with a strong commitment to evidence-based decision-making. He holds a Master’s degree in International Public Health and brings over a decade of experience in strengthening health systems.
Previously, Mr. Wadegu served as a County Coordinator for the USAID-funded JSI CHISU project, where he played a key role in improving malaria surveillance, enhancing data quality, and mentoring healthcare workers. His leadership in subnational health programs has significantly contributed to strengthening data use for policy and programmatic action.
As an Associate at CESMEL-Health, Mr. Wadegu is dedicated to advancing high-impact health interventions by leveraging data and strategic collaboration. His expertise aligns with CESMEL’s mission to enhance health program effectiveness through rigorous monitoring, evaluation, and learning.
